4) It is recommended all Hackintosh users upgrade directly to Mac OS X 10.9.2 and 10.9.2. 5) It is recommended use the combo updater for the best experience. This will not affect any OS prior to 10.13.
6) Download the latest and greatest version of Hackintosh 10.13.5 (High Sierra)7) Reboot your computer and run the combo updater. When it finishes, you will be prompted to reboot again.8) Keep an eye on the messages and when it says "Reboot complete" you can close this window and stop monitoring. Once the updater is complete, go ahead and reboot.9) Ready, set, go!
Make sure you have backed up your Hackintosh's home directory before rebooting.10) Your Hackintosh should be fully updated now. Unfortunately, due to the recent security flaw on macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, you will have to wait until Apple releases a public beta version that is signed with a Public Developer Identifier (PDI), and not the Worldwide Developer Identifier (WWDID) to allow the machine to run 10.13.6 right now. This is a big issue for me personally, since I am a musician and spend tons of time downloading and uploading files via Daemon tools. 11) If you want to roll back the update, just repeat steps 7 through 10, but replace the combo updater with the incremental updater.
Well there you have it. Now you can enjoy your sweet new Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6 combo updater download. As always, posting tech support to hackintosh forums helps to speed up the whole process. Hackintosh and topic advice can be found on my blog: http://hackintosh-solutions.blogspot.com/
out of curiosity - try to change the OSSerialNumber property using VBScript. In this case, in administrator mode, I can change it, but in Windows XP I can not. Could someone shed light on that situation? d2c66b5586
